Background

Sejal joined Redstone as a student from Rice University, where she studies Economics and Data Science. Sejal is involved in social advocacy and consulting groups on campus, including PERIOD@Rice, a menstrual equity organization. She also organizes events through her student government and dances with the Rice Bhangra dance team.

Previously, Sejal worked as a research assistant in Columbia Business School where she studied the rate of change of entrepreneurship in minority neighborhoods nationwide. Prior to that, Sejal interned at BridgeYear, a nonprofit that helps disadvantaged students access financially stable middle-skill careers.

The semester before her internship at Redstone, Sejal studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain. In her free time, she enjoys cooking (and trying) different foods, hiking, and exploring new hobbies.
