Background

Anusha joined Redstone after graduating in Global Affairs at Yale University. She has a wide range of interdisciplinary interests. These interests are woven together by a strong passion for human rights and uplifting marginalized communities. This is displayed in her research which ranges from analyzing the economic impact of COVID-19 on migrant communities in India to her senior capstone project mapping the cyber component of the war in Ukraine. Before working at Redstone, Anusha engaged in market analysis on European export opportunities as an Assistant Trade Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Anusha’s interests follow her outside of the classroom. Her passion for creating communities of support have allowed her to be the President of two student organizations at Yale. As the president of the Women’s Leadership Initiative, the oldest and largest group on campus dedicated to supporting women, Anusha remodeled the membership model to highlight flexibility of student involvement. During her time as President of India at Yale she established new partnerships with other South Asian affinity groups, fostering a broader community.

During her free time, Anusha loves sunset runs, reading a good thriller and finding the best coffee shop in any city she is in.
