Background

Mark spent nearly three decades honing his business-building acumen first at Procter and Gamble in the brand management organization, and then more extensively as a longstanding Senior Partner at McKinsey and Company. He helped clients conceive and build new products, services, practice areas, and businesses in North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia; led the development of McKinsey’s Branding practice in the Americas; and created McKinsey’s global Organizational Insights practice to develop diagnostic tools and methods to improve the on-going success and sustainability of an enterprise.

Since his time with McKinsey, Mark has applied his deep expertise, broad-based perspective, and global network as a board member, advisor, and investor with multiple impact oriented technology companies, and more specifically, in leadership and senior advisory roles for Factor[e] Ventures, Blackhorn Ventures, and Redstone Strategy Group. He lives in Boulder, CO and enjoys hiking, running, road and mountain biking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Mark and his wife, Melanie, have four children.
