Background

Camilla is joining Redstone as she enters her final year at the University of Pennsylvania. At UPenn Camilla is a double major in Economics as well as Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), with a minor in Chinese.

At UPenn, Camilla has explored her interest in social impact and international development through various on-campus organizations. As President of Penn for Refugee Empowerment, she helps direct and organize tutoring programs and events aimed at empowering and assisting refugee communities in Philadelphia and internationally. In her role as Director of Consulting for Wharton Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Consulting, she has connected student-led project teams with organizations, ranging from Philadelphia schools to research laboratories, seeking DEI services.

Her interests led her to work as a research assistant for the Center for Social Norms and Behavioral Dynamics, where she worked on financial inclusion and multiple borrowing practices in Kenya. She is currently working as a teaching assistant for a Wharton Business Economics and Public Policy Class focused on consumers, firms, and markets in developing countries.

Camilla previously interned at The Atlantic Council, where she assisted the GeoEconomics Department with research about central bank digital currency and co-authored an article about the importance of climate resilience in developing countries. She also worked at Amagi as a Product Marketing Intern, assisting with market analysis to advise on monetization strategies.

Camilla is originally from Rome but now finds herself in Washington DC. She enjoys attending concerts with friends, finding new recipes to cook, and exploring hiking trails.
