Background
Lucas is a rising senior at Yale University studying Environmental Engineering and Energy Studies. At Yale, he served as the publisher of the Yale Scientific Magazine, which interviews leading researchers and reports on recent discoveries and controversies in the fields of science and technology. In addition to writing articles, he managed the publication’s finances and distribution to its international subscriber base.
Lucas has previous professional experience in the public sector as a commercialization intern in the US Department of Energy, and in academia as a research assistant at the Yale School of the Environment studying trends in the adoption of green technology.
Prior to starting at Redstone, Lucas spent a year in Taiwan studying Mandarin Chinese and culture. In his free time, he enjoys going outdoors, playing board games, and learning to cook different foods.
