Longtime Redstone employees Stacey Chen and Max Dovala have recently been promoted to Principals at the firm.

Chen partners with clients to lead projects focused on education; gender, reproductive, and racial equity; and movement building. She is recognized for her work developing advocacy strategies and supporting coalitions for organizations such as the Collaborative for Gender & Reproductive Equity and has authored publications on movement-building and advocacy campaigns. In addition to leading Redstone’s California office, she co-founded the firm’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice (DEIJ) working group to spark discussions and thought leadership both across the firm and in client projects.
Dovala co-leads Redstone’s climate practice in addition to helping clients across a range of sectors in deepening their impact. Dovala has expanded new modeling efforts, bringing additional insights to the firm’s work on climate and energy. From his early days helping ClimateWorks manage its global funding, to addressing the climate impacts of palm oil in Indonesia, to supporting the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, Dovala’s creativity, passion, and commitment to addressing climate change has been long-standing.
