Saseen studied in the Huntsman Program for International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he concentrated in Middle Eastern studies and business operations. His senior thesis explored how narrow definitions of refugeehood and a limited scope of responsible agents are responsible for inadequate resettlement of refugees. Saseen has spent recent summers studying Arabic at the American University of Beirut, working on marketing for an early stage startup in the Bay Area, and consulting with IBM Global Business Services in New York. He is a 2017 Venture for America Fellow.
Saseen is originally from San Clemente, California. In his free time he enjoys skiing, experimenting with plant based cooking, and exploring the Coloradan outdoors.
